On Saturday April 16^th 2016, the Senologic Hellenic Society organized a scientific symposium to inform health professionals on recent developments in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment. From the Hellenic Health Foundation, Pagona Lagiou. MD Professor at the University of Athens Medical School and Adjunct Professor at Harvard School of Public Health discussed the "Epidemiological evidence on breast cancer. What's new?" and Androniki Naska, PhD Associate Professor at the University of Athens Medical School discussed "The impact of nutrition on health".

The scientific symposium was dedicated to the memory of Professor Dimitrios Trichopoulos.
