ANEMOS
Expansion and update of existing nutrition monitoring systems
The ANEMOS project expands and updates the DAFNE databank (Data Food Networking), which includes information on the daily, individual food availability of a nationally representative sample of households. These data are collected through the Household Budget Surveys of the National Statistical Offices. Data from Estonia, Lithuania and Portugal are processed and rendered comparable according to standard procedures.
Results are integrated in the Dafne-Anemos Soft, a free online tool that helps you access the daily per person availability of food and beverages in European households and monitors food patterns and their socio-demographic determinants across 27 European countries.
Try it out: The Pan-European Food Data Bank which includes 90 harmonized datasets.
