The successful 2^nd International Olive Conference concluded with an award presentation to the President of the Hellenic Health Foundation and Professor Emeritus of the University of Athens Medical School, Dr Antonia Trichopoulou. The conference with the theme: "Olive Sector: Pursuing innovation - Exploring trends" was organized by the Olive Center "Krinos" of the Perrotis College of Agriculture, Environment & Life Sciences, a division of the American Farm School, Thessaloniki, Greece.

The 2^nd International Conference was a forum for dialogue and scientific announcements on the olive tree. The rapporteurs made significant announcements on recent innovations and future trends for the global olive sector. Agriculturists, scientists and entrepreneurs, representing every industry sector had the opportunity to exchange views and learn from specialists.
