On December 4-5, 2017, a joint FAO/WHO Symposium on "Sustainable food systems for healthy diets in Europe and central Asia" took place in Budapest. Prof. A. Trichopoulou, President of the HHF participated in the Symposium. On December 4, 2017, she gave a speech on "Mediterranean diet and sustainable benefits" and on December 5, 2017, she participated as a chair on "Governance, leadership and accountability for nutrition" session.
